Victor E. Matos is the President of Elemar Int’l Forwarding, Inc. a Freight Forwarding Company he founded February 1st, 1995 in the city of Miami.
He has an Aerospace Technology degree from Farmingdale State University in New York. After graduating in 1973, Victor began his career in transportation working for Varig Brazilian Airlines as a cargo agent at John F. Kennedy Int'l Airport, three years later he became sales representative.. In 1982 he moved to Los Angeles, California where he started working in the Freight Forwarding industry for a U.K. based company as District Manager, after three years he was promoted to the position of Director of Central, South America and the Caribbean and moved to Miami.>
Overall he has more than 47 years experience in transportation and logistics and has been involved in moving many large projects from the United States to Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
Victor joined the board in 2013 as Regional Director for South America. In June 2021 he took over responsibility for the North American region.

Ronnie Leung is Group Director of AE Cargo Group Ltd which was founded in 1992 and has offices in both Hong Kong and China. He is in charge of overseas business & agency development, operations refinement, risk management, legal and compliance, Mainland affairs management, customer services management, MIS management, airline general sales agency management, AOG logistics management, corporate administration and management. Ronnie studied at the Hong Kong Polytechnic, University China Business Centre and the Hong Kong Logistics Association among others, and has a Foundation Diploma & Professional Diploma in Logistics Management. He started his career as a sales executive in the Cargo Department of The Travel Advisor Ltd before being promoted to sales manager. Ronnie joined Baclaran Cargo Services Ltd in 1987 overseeing overseas business & agency development, sales & marketing, operations SOP development, service outsourcing, corporate administration and management. The company eventually merged with Italian's Alisped Far East Ltd.
Ronnie joined the WFG Board of Directors as a ‘Director at Large’ in June 2015.

Kabir Ahmed started his career in the freight forwarding business in 1992, with Quylink International Shipping, later known as Sarton Logistics Ltd., UK. He then started his own venture in 1998, Conveyor Logistics Limited (CLL), predominately a freight forwarding and industrial logistics company. Over the years, eight (8) more companies were launched for doing business in project cargo logistics, shipping, aviation and tourism, import and marketing, IT and import-export indenting under Conveyor Group. Kabir Ahmed is currently the Chairman of Conveyor Group of Companies, which has its’ headquarter in Dhaka, Bangladesh along with 12 subsidiary companies.
Within a short span of time, with his experiences and dynamism, he has brought forward his company in a prominent position in Bangladesh. Lately, during the last two decades, Conveyor Logistics Limited has ventured into providing project logistics and support services to the developing energy, power sector and infrastructure development projects and have provided project logistics support services to 85% of the high-profile power plant projects of the country.
At present CLL has more than 350 staffs in its Head Office and in 7 Customs Stations in Bangladesh and overseas branches.

Kabir Ahmed is actively involved in various social activities and humanitarian welfare services. He was the founder Chairman of the British School in Dhaka. He is the Chairman of a renowned NGO, The Good Earth, a humanitarian NGO based in Dhaka, involved in socio-economic development works and community welfare activities.
Kabir Ahmed is also actively involved providing honorary consultancy services to the Trade Facilitation Committee to European Union in Bangladesh.
In April 2019, Kabir Ahmed was elected as the Chairman of the World Freight Group, an apex trade body of world renowned freight forwarding & logistics companies.

Beginning his logistics career in 1999, Stepan Jirik gained broad industry experience that highlighted a critical market need: personalized client service. Driven by this realization and a commitment to excellence, Stepan co-founded Cargologix s.r.o. in 2007 with his brother. In his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Stepan has since led efforts to provide highly customized, top-tier logistics solutions that directly address client requirements. His educational foundation in business was established with my graduation from the School of Business and Service Economics in 1998.
Stepan joined the WFG Board of Directors on April 30th 2025.

With a double major in Supply Chain Management and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Saajin began his leadership journey as President of the university’s Supply Chain and Operations Management Association from 2010 to 2011. Shortly after graduating, he returned to Dubai and officially joined TFI, where he led the planning and development of its 3PL facility.
Over the years, Saajin has actively shaped the company’s growth across multiple verticals—including freight forwarding, Importer of Record (IOR) services, and warehousing solutions. He also led the successful pursuit of ISO certifications, reinforcing TFI’s commitment to global standards.
Under his leadership, the company has steadily expanded its presence across the MEASA region, earning a reputation as a forward-thinking and adaptable logistics provider. Today, TFI is entering a new territory, with a growing focus on healthcare logistics and the air transportation of dangerous goods.

Patricia is CEO of GP Cargo Ag. De Cargas Ltda in Brasil, a Freight Forwarding Company, founded with Mr. Gustavo Minafra on February 4th of 2009 at Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil.
Patricia Tobias has a Bachelor's degree in administration and international trade business. Graduate School on Shipping and Master's degree in business management.
She started her carrier working on Marketing for a multinational company called Monsanto (Bayer) and then decided to take some adventure in the logistics world working at the Correios ( the official courier logistic company in Brasil).
In 2000 she was invited by a local FFW company to work with them, where she stayed for seven years and knew her business partner Mr. Gustavo Minafra.
Nine years later, she started her venture, together with Mr. Gustavo Minafra, opening GP Cargo doors for the world. GP Cargo is a Freight Forwarding and Customs Broker
company in Brasil.
So she fell in love with the freight forwarding business and is making her efforts at GP Cargo worthwhile day by day.
On 2014, GP Cargo become member of WFG recomended by Mr. Paolo Maderna to represent Minas Gerais area in Brasil.
Besides GP Cargo, Patricia is CEO of Liber Wines ( Wine Import and Distributors in Brasil), Value Enterprise company (a trading Company in Brasil), and GP Transportes ( a Truck company in Brasil).
Patricia Joined the WFG BOD on February 1st, 2022.
